A neighbor lady, recently widowed, had a broken tie rod end on a John Deere riding mower. She "Didn"t want to bother" me so called a JD dealer. They picked it up, and brought it back for $35 each way,(10 miles 1 way) Then charged $250 for a tie rod end, and labor. They also said she needed a new battery, for $100, but she asked me about that. I"ll get her a battery for about $35, but it won"t have a deer picture on it!
