Hey just seeing if anyone can give me some advice. I just picked up a ford 4000 hd industrial with loader and hoe. my local shop told me it was a 1964. serial # is 48748. now the problems. It starts up every time but after a few minutes it wants to stall out, or if you try and put it under any kind of load, it will do the same. at first though it is fine. it acts like lack of fuel or something in the carb. I took the carb apart and it looks to be a reconditioned carb. I also blew out the fuel line and cleaned the sediment bowl. also when it starts to stall you can mess with the choke and get it to stay running. any suggestions?
