lafones........didja know iff'n you use the WRONG 8-32 screw to hold the points on, yer under the plate centrifugal weights won't advance and you won't have power, just as you complain. Make certain your points screw is the SHORT 8-32x3/16 'stedda' of the longer more common 8-32x1/4".
