If it is flooding out dont forget to drain the old oil out. Had a Pontiac with a leaky carb in the shop, blew the oil pan apart.
OT/ At a Caddilac dealer (no paint shop) they had a trainee get 2 gallons of antifreeze from parts to refill an Eldorado. Trainee went to mechanic saying antifreeze didnt look right - he was told to quit stalling and get it done. Car went 12 miles and BOOM! Both cylinder heads came off of the engine and struck the hood. It was paint thinner someone had put in 2 jugs and they got returned & put in stock.
Then some one played a trick on April fools day and switched an oil filter for a can of chicken soup in the box. They asked him the next day how hhe liked his soup.. he said what soup?
In November a gas station called our manager and said he had the strangest thing happen. He got a P51 oil filter off the shelf - out came a can Campells chicken noodle soup - I overeard this and told the manager to credit his account and tell him to enjoy his lunch.
