An old timer neighbor of mine, he is likey dead by now or 90 years old. He told me that when women started working, you know womans rights and all that, Inflation started going up cause more money in circulation and demand for good and services went up too. He swore that this is why inflation was way up in the 1970s. He did admit to me that the Arab oil crises of the mid 70s contributed to it too.
