I'm going to be replacing a tire on a water wagon tomorrow. It's a Farm tire 9.5L-15 and the hole in the rim for the tube is all rusted out to at least 1" square. I'm planning to weld a patch and then drill a new hole elsewhere on the rim before I head over to the tire dealer. I know lots of you guys have patched rims like this before. Can anybody tell me what the proper hole size is?
