I teach history in a school that is in an area that grows only corn, beans,wheat and hay. Several years ago while going through Ky. I stopped at a farm that raised tobacco. The farmer was nice enough to let me cut two green plants to take with me. He told me all about what you have to do to raise tobacco. He was great to visit with and I appreciated his time, information and two tobacco plants. I took them to my class and hung them on the wall. They were the talk of the class and we watched them as they changed from green to golden brown. I had them for five years and finally they fell apart. I will be traveling to Ky. the last of Sept. and was wondering if it is to late to cut some tobacco plants? Your help would certainly be appreciated. Thank!!!!!
