Sent some time working some country with a set of Kelly chains. They are like a set of offsets but the discs are mounted on chains instead of shafts. was useing them to bust up sunflower stalks after harvest. They are 40ft wide and could pull them 8 mph before the chains started to bounce to much. They worked rely well but it would have been better to do it once then rip the paddock and do it again as the soil was very tight and didnt get much depth but we were only renting them and they were already 2 weeks late getting here. These things are used a lot in no till country as a way of controling small weeds and to level wheel marks
