yes but what is your pressure relief valve setting going up too when you have it turned all the way to one side and at the end so it can build pressure . This is adjustable and if you can't make pressure then the pump may be worn out. When you had the pump apart did you mic the gears and housings ? I have seen many of these really worn out.
Make sure it doesn't have mixed up parts too. Someone could of stuck a pump from an early model 60 on there with a relief valve in it. Or an early valve housing with no relief for the system at all. I saw this once before !
