I am happy for you that you found a job and your body can handle it. When I was 57 I got fired from my truck mechanic job because of personality conflicks with management. It was the only place that I ever worked where that happened. I thought no one would want me either. Well after about 2 months the fleet manager for a national dairy company called and wanted me to come in for an interview, said he found my resume online. I have no idea how it got there. He talked to my wife as I was out working at another job I had found. It had no benefits though. Anyhow the man that called wanted me because of my experience. He was tired of the people presently there. He had just taken over that shop. My wife told him about benefits and money that I needed to go to work there. That was on Friday night. He wanted me to interview on Saturday and at 3 P.M. Sat he hired me. It was the best thing that ever happened to me, job wise. I had to retire last year though because of bungled hip replacement surgeries ( three times on each side). This is the only place that I ever worked that had longterm disability insurance. I believe God's hand was in all of it.
