I've been seeing plenty of leaves turning yellow and falling off trees already in northern Indiana and Illinois. On pretty hearty trees like maple and even some oak. First noticed it a couple of weeks ago, been looking for it now. I can't figure that out either. Got hot, around 90 for about three weeks straight, but have had plenty of precipitation, so I would figure everything would be growing like mad, like out of the rain forest. This is only August, not November.
