I live on a two acre wooded lot and had plenty of trouble with skunks digging for grubs last year. I trapped seven and ended up shooting them, didn't want to chance trying anything else. This year, early in the spring, I ran across a bug zapper that my mother-in-law had given us some twenty years ago(still in the box.) I hung it in the back yard and I think the constant zapping at night is scaring them away. I have it on a dusk to dawn timer. First time in 4 years that I don't have the skunks and other animals punching holes in the yard. The zapper even makes our cats nervous when it gets dark. Tom
