Boy they sure did not make this thing easy to change the plugs in. 1990 GMC S-15 I just traded for. Has the 4.3 V-6. It has 258.XXX mile on it and the plugs look like they are the same ones that where in it when new. Plugs are black and the gap is real wide and so far out of the 4 I have done 2 of them the center part of the electrode is flush with the ceramic so guess it was far past time to change them. Guy I got it from said it did not get good mileage so maybe this will help a lot. Just did the left front plug and took almost 30 minutes to get it out. Oh well should make a far beater for the boy so he will have 4 wheels to get around with instead of the 2 he is doing it with now
