I have the greatest respect for those who serve our country,they do things i never would want to do.but I also worry that there is no way out of this mess over there.and there will be no clear winners.The middle east is a different world than here.like lawrance said "you dont buy loyalty in the middle east,you rent it".you kill one enemy and you make two more.and dont forget we are fighting an idea just as much as soldiers.thats nearly impossible to defeat anytime.while we keep swearing we are not fighting a religeous war, over there religeon( make that FAITH,not religeon,HUGE difference) ,is so closely ingrained in those folks daily lives its very hard to seperate.and regardless of how or when we pull out they will claim victory.I pray for our soldiers,of all branches,they have a extremely tough row to hoe there,and it must be extremely frustrating.
