First, most dealerships close at 12PM on Saturday. And considering they were open at least 40 hours before Saturday, give them a break. Most shops don't have a weekday crew and a Saturday crew, its the same people, who probably want to go home.
Secondly, the guy you talked to is a liar? Why?
How do you know he didn't tell the owner?
Maybe the owner was on another phone line and plain forgot or maybe with a customer who was buying a tractor?
Maybe they were swamped with customers because they close at noon, and the message never made it the owner by mistake?
To call someone a liar and not know all the facts is ignorance on your part.
If they didn't call back with 10-15 minutes, why didn't you call them? Or better yet, why not just visit them? Or are you too good to drive there and deal in person?
First priority are walk-in customers. Phone people get dealt with second, mainly because they don't have cash in their hand, waiting to be rang out like the store customer is.
