I've noticed that as well, seems all kinds of things listed further west are much more reasonable, condition varies in both places just the same, but try and find a track type tractor on the east, usually wore out and they want top dollar. When I was looking for a decent D7, I finally found one in the midwest, trucking was reasonable enough and in addition to the tractor price it was worth it, now the equation has changed due to fuel and other costs that have risen.
One of my favorite things is implements, don't know what it is, I just like implements, probably because of all the things you can get and do with a tractor, I mean a tractor is useless without the, now price those from the east to the west, big difference sometimes on those too.
