Wow...some nice tractors up there...too bad they all have been made so nice that they are apparently worth about 3-5 times more than they really are!
 
I've been noticing that, too.

Not that I'm going to go from Nebraska to New Hampshire to buy a tractor, but from surfing the photo ads I've seen some neat stuff. And you're right about the prices.

An item, tractors included, are only worth so much, and there comes a point when no matter how much money you pour into it, it stops increasing in value. If I recall my Economics correctly, economists call it the "point of diminishing returns".
 
I've noticed that as well, seems all kinds of things listed further west are much more reasonable, condition varies in both places just the same, but try and find a track type tractor on the east, usually wore out and they want top dollar. When I was looking for a decent D7, I finally found one in the midwest, trucking was reasonable enough and in addition to the tractor price it was worth it, now the equation has changed due to fuel and other costs that have risen.

One of my favorite things is implements, don't know what it is, I just like implements, probably because of all the things you can get and do with a tractor, I mean a tractor is useless without the, now price those from the east to the west, big difference sometimes on those too.
 
I see it all time here. Must have been more m farmalls sold in this count than anywhere in the nation. I see people all the time asking $ 3500 and 3000 for Ms and here they just want bring that. Just too many old tractors sitting around and farmers going out ev ery day. All about supply and demand. I guess it is a thing about the board you can post it and ask any price you want. Some guy in Canada had a td6 ih crawler listed for $ 15,000. They just can,t be that nice around here, hard to get more than 4 or 5 thousand for a real nice one.
