I have a 1091 Hesston haybine with the two piece guards, bottom forged and the top stamped, I think they are called tie guards, they were on the machine when it was new and I have used them ever since. There getting very hard to find and very expensive. I know the one piece guards like on a New Holland will fit on but then will I have to add hold down clips?? and if so, how many? one over each guard? I can't seen to find that info anywhere. Thanks.
