I know of two John Deere 4430 factory narrow front tractors. One is a four post canopy and the other is a factory flat top fender one. The one with flat top fenders only has 2000 and some hours on it. I have tried to buy it for years. These are both 1973 year models.
The MF 1130 was Neb.Test# 948 120.51 PTO hp
The JD 4430 was Neb.Test# 1110 125.88 PTO hp
The White 2-135 Neb. Test# 1275 137.64 PTO hp.
The IH 1466 was Neb test# 1125 145.77 PTO hp.
So if IH offered the IH1466 factory narrow front then it would be the winner so far. I have seen the JD 4430 and MF 1130 with narrow fronts. I have seen IH 1466 that I know where switched to narrow front. I have never seen a White 2-135 narrow front. I would like to see it. I bet that it look really odd on a cab tractor.
