Yea, I got an extra condensor with the new points kit...but the condensor that was in it was only like a year old...so i refrained from replacing it. I have noticed however, that the points appear to have buildup on them at times..which hense would not create good spark...Like they were getting too hot...
I used a voltmeter on it...one i had...and when the tractor is off...or the ignition in the "on" position, the power is good around 12.5v when the engine is running...I can't seem to get a measurement. The meter bounces all over the place at the starter solenoid i believe it is...and anywhere else...except coming out of the alternator with a solid 13.9v charging.
