I had that same disc (I think its an IH) about 40 years ago, doing my first tillage job on a 10 acre field on our first farm. Pulled it with a McCormick W4. Had various pieces of scrap iron chained on for weight. Pretty rough going at first, because I hadn't done that great a job of plowing. But I was pretty proud of the job when I finally finished. 'Course, I kept at it for quite awhile after it was actually "done", because it was so much fun going fast on the now-smooth field. Kind of like a toothache- it feels so much better when it quits hurting.
Probably got more satisfaction out of that field than many more using better equipment over the years. Thanks for the pics.
