Sorry, but to be a successful landlord you have to be mean, greedyand deceitful. I flunked this test. Tried for over 10 years. Did turn profit on two of seven units. And both my kids lived there for a while. An experience like no other. Had shootings, drugs, fires, broken windows, frozen pipes and a kid run over by a truck, cats and rabbits left in units. 60 bags of trash left by tenants twice, gas main dug up in street for nonpayment without any notice. You need more. Still have some hair! Dave
