In MY next life, I'm not going to become legally entangled with a woman who, amongst other things, is an animal HOARDER!

Come to think of it, I should have taken an older fella's advice... "it's cheaper to RENT"!

I got some new renters to send ya if you're interested.....only behind two months, but have a new boat in driveway...finally got the sheriff there last week....

Good luck with that man. These days renter's have more rights then the land lord. They get what? Ninety days before eviction can be complete? In the mean time they live off of you for free? Nice, real nice.

Always heard that in the case of a 'rental' your not paying for them to be there as much as you are paying to make sure they leave......

Had new renters move in yesterday. He's a new Deputy Sheriff and his wife's an RN. Don't think he knows yet that his boss, the County Sheriff, and I have been buddies for years, unless the Sheriff told him.

HOWEVER, I'm seriously thinking about selling the whole scheiss, farm and all, and kicking back while someone else has the headaches.

Nearby land, no better than ours, sold for $5400 per acre a coupla weeks ago. It got me to wondering why I'm putting up with all this.

Sorry, but to be a successful landlord you have to be mean, greedyand deceitful. I flunked this test. Tried for over 10 years. Did turn profit on two of seven units. And both my kids lived there for a while. An experience like no other. Had shootings, drugs, fires, broken windows, frozen pipes and a kid run over by a truck, cats and rabbits left in units. 60 bags of trash left by tenants twice, gas main dug up in street for nonpayment without any notice. You need more. Still have some hair! Dave
