I think this year is going to be one for the books in just about every aspect. Drought, flood, fires, earthquakes, on and on. Certain parts of North Carolina have received sufficient rainfall, but here in the central part and eastern part it's drought conditions. I think we have already set several records for heat, high 80s today and 97 forecast for tomorrow with heat index above 100. I'm 72 and I agree with you, it's about the worst I have ever seen.
