This is probably a dumb question but here goes. My 8N has no tach/proofmeter. How do I know when the pto is turning 540rpm as required for my rotary mower? I do have a dwell tach and could find engine rpm with that but need to know how that would correspond to pto speed. Also does throttle position and pto speed change with gear selection? I mow in 1st or 2nd gear. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
