I'd help my cousin rake up weeds in the old pasture, him on the old Ford and me riding Gran-pa's sulky rake. I'd kick the foot-release as we went over the windrow. I rally enjoyed that, lining up the windros as best I could, until we raked over the nest of bumble-bees. They all boiled past me, I tried to yell "LOOK OUTTTTT!!!!!!" but it was in slow motion. They all bombed him on the back of his neck. Last time we raked iwth then sulky rake.
