The Federal government makes billions and billions in taxes from it. But if the Feds had any brains they would ban it and treat it like Heroin or cocaine because the government spends billions and billions in the health claims, medicare, medicaid because of it. My FIL died a horrible death, he was 59. The last 3 months of his life he was on an oxygen machine, rotting away in a hospital bed. He had a large IV with morphine being pumped into him to lessen the pain. Even morphine doesnt help after awhile. He started smoking when he was 14, 2 packs of Winstons per day until he retired in 2003, then he went to 1 pack per day. Died in 2006. 2nd hand smoke from a car is bad too......But you gotta drive, you dont have to smoke.
