We finally got some rain, but we got too much at one time. Since Jan. 1 our rain total was 3.2 inches as of Tuesday. Yesterday starting about 2 PM the rain fell, finally got done sometime during the night. Total of 4.7 inches in the gauge this AM. The old saying is feast or famine, sure holds true for South Texas.
