I agree with Bus Driver. The motor may be the same brand and Power output, but of different internal design. If it is not starting, thus blowing the fuse/breaker at turn on, the issue is probably the starting load. If heavier wires were used to connect, the load (time to RPM, and amps) would likely be less. If it is taking out the protection during operation, I would still put 20 amp capable wires (US 12 gauge) extension. If that didn't help, up grading the generator might be the only solution other than putting a different (less draw/powerful) motor on the saw. Jim
