Yep! The bearing I needed for the KUHN300 would have been special order from my local dealer at $97.xx plus freight.
I had the NTN/Bower number for it, but not even NAPA or Carquest could get it.
Ended up getting it from a place in California. LocateBallBearings.com. It was $45.53 plus $15.00 shipping/handling.
Their phone is 760-201-4713.
As long as he has the OEM number for it he will get the right one. I gave them the number stamped on the bearing, but they asked for the OEM number to double check that the right bearing had been installed if it had been changed sometime.
By the way, Rod, I ended up with about $225 in parts and welding to get that machine in shape. That includes the bearing, all new knives and bolts/nuts, new gear lube in the bar, etc. That brings the total for this machine to well under $2000 so far. DOUG
