Don't know what RTU you are buying, but I was using it by the "boat loads" on cut stumps and was getting pretty expensive. We looked up Grazon and by cutting it 50% it was the same as RTU, but less than 1/2 the price. Might not contain much Tordon, but apparently neither does RTU. Had an area that I have fought thistle for the last ten years. Continued to slowly thin them out with Roundup, 2-4-D, and occasional mowing, but never could eliminate them. Finally sprayed them individually with the 50% Grazon and no more thistles. Stinger I've heard will also smoke them.
