I have a question for you all -
I went to to try starting the tractor (my 135) today and the following happened:
The starter where the tab comes out of the starter and bolts to the solenoid started to spark wildly.
And the carburator seemed to be leaking gas from the gasket between the bowl and the upper part of the carburator, backing up into the air cleaner and out the drain plug.
The drain plug is a bit of a tough one - the screw in plug that Massey used on the TSX-882 no longer is available and while its a valid part number subs to a hydraulic cap screw to use instead. It"s leaking despite me making sure its tight.
I guess I"m curious what would cause the tractor to do this? I rebuilt the carburator last year and had the starter checked a few weeks ago.

I did keep everything I replaced for the day I do want to restore her to showroom condition.
