Unless you can eat WEEDS, there's no food involved in this discussion.
The problem with, "It's my land and I can do whatever I want with it," is that YOUR land is ending up on MY freshly washed truck! It's silting in through my screens and ending up on everything in my house.
If people could be trusted to be considerate about how and when they disked their land to keep the weeds down, then there would be no need to regulate.
Of course some jerkwad with the attitude that they can do whatever they want whenever they want, went ahead and disked their weeds at the worst possible time, covered all the neighbors in dust, and totally pi$$ed them off.
Okay give me a discing schedule that is typically utilized in your region that would be considerate to yourself and your truck.
