I have had more trouble with hydro when customers try to do service on them. very few issues if they just leave them alone. yes they can be serviced,but if its working fine and makes no noise then i wouldn't worry about it. some have filters some do not it just depends on whats under your unit. soe unts only way to change oil is either suck it out or dismantle housing on unit.
