Go get a trail camera. I have one which I have moved from time to time and have seen alot. It has help with my kid to have them identify a car in the drive which in turn put the word out that we had camera's. I presently have it at work. I drilled a hole in the side on my old tool box and put it inside so it can't get stolen. I caught two thieves in action. The word is now out at work and the steeling has stopped. I set mine to take a 30 second vidieo, The pictures didn't tell me enough. Your Mil may still have issues but, at least you will know. Good Luck
