The finger pickups will not drop a high enough population. The finger meters where not made to drop soybeans at high rates. They have 12 fingers and the brush meters have 60 holes in them. So the radial bean meters will drop five times the seed in one rotation. You can get bean cups that will drop more beans but they don"t singulate them. They plant more like a fluted feed drill. You want a final stand of 150,000 plants per acre for soybeans. Check your seed and see what germination percentage it is. 90% or lower is not uncommon in soybeans. So you will need to drop more than the 150k to get the stand you want.
