I spent many hours hauling wheat in a Ford like that. Loved that truck. Good, simple, and very dependable. I assume it is a 4 and 2? That old truck would fly home from the elevator at 70 mph easy. The only drawback I could see with ours was that it didn't have saddle tanks and that fuel tank behind the seat didn't last all day with lots of loads of heavy wheat. That, and those tapered dash knobs that cracked when you really needed them (like the wipers!).
If there was a choice between the two and all else was identical, I would go with the 330 in a heartbeat.
I won't ever own a Ford other than a heavy truck. That being said, I don't think anyone out there can outlast their big trucks. You'll love it.
