I guess I"m with you tj, if they didn"t deliver every time I wasn"t home, it would be a real pain in the arse. Our driver leaves stuff where it won"t get rained on and I give him a twenty around Christmas for his efforts. I live at the end of a steep 1,200 ft. driveway and altho I try to keep it in good shape, there are times he has come up it when it was "beyond the call of duty"! I was a part time rural carrier for the USPS back in the 60s and I know I made a lot more effort to make deliveries then than they do now. Course, with the "letigious" society we have nowadays, everyone is more cautious about everything.
