The 'Real Farmers' that choose to live in the flood plain accept the fact every so often the River floods. Every farmer in the world looks at a gambler in the mirror every morning. They don't lose their land. They lose this year�s crop and gain an inch of silt. What I hate to see is all that water going south when it's so badly needed in west Taxus and Oklahoma As for the people who choose to just live there and complain I don't have much sympathy.
