8,000 pound pull Ramsey or Warn. Snatch blocks are a pain. This size winch will usually do what you need done, in a straight pull. You'll still have the snatch block for "the hard times". These are not bargain products, but you won't regret buying a quality winch. Cheapo units leak smoke just when you need em most.
