I would like to share the "fix" I used with with the help of Willy-N. Mark suggested to use stone-guard from NAPA, it sounded like a good way to fix getting black all over my hands, well as luck would have it, they were out of stock. I went to the other auto parts store in town and ended up buying a can of spray bed liner for $7. This worked like a CHARM. I sanded my steering wheel lightly, primed and painted the steering wheel with the bed liner. I have used it roughly 50 hours now and now sign of wear whatsoever. I can't even scratch or dent it with my fingernail. I really appreciate all who post here and share their knowledge so freely.. Thanks again Cliff
