Not bad at all, for as much as it's been used. Barely a nick in it at all. It hardly needs a new paint job. Weather has been good here. Mid 60's to mid 70's. Hit 86 just the other day. Finally got some much needed rain this week. That's good and bad news. Once we get the first major rain, and the trees and plants start to really bud, my springtime allergies kick in big time. The closest I've gotten to fishing in Canada was on Lake of the Woods, some 30 years ago. We did however start a new tradition last year. Some of my wife's family (her dad, uncles) have been going to Leech lake for years. The whole family was invited last year in June, for a somewhat family reunion. I think we had something like 80+ people there. Birch Ridge Resort (I think) has about 12 or 13 cabins. The family had 9 of them. We virtually took over the club house every night. Fishing was good, but I'm not much of a fisherman. We took our 18 ft. runabout up with. I spent more time entertaining the kids skiing, tubing, etc. That's more fun for me than fishing anyway. Every time I start conversing with you, I tend to get alittle long. Hope you have go luck in Canada. My father-in-law, his dad (Grandpa Dud) his brothers (Uncle Dick and Uncle John) and my brother-in-law Brad have been going up there for years and always come home with plenty of fish. Unfortunatly we lost Grandpa Dud and Uncle Dick this last year, so their group is getting smaller. I better quit. You will get tired of reading. Talk to you soon. Loren

On the Road with Dave Gohl: Tractor Club Beginnings - by Dave Gohl. I was surprised about a month ago when I got a call from a fellow tractor croonie. His message was interesting and to the point. He's says "Dave, I've been thinking about starting a Two Cylinder club for our area. What do ya think?" It was a loaded question. I said that I would be interested, and was wondering what his next step was. (Although I was talking under my breath, since I thought of this some years ago) My friend, Arlyn Lamb of Lakeville, Minnesota was sincere in his miss
