I have a 1/16 John Deere 7520 that is in the box and has a disc with it. I was wondering if anyone knew how much this was worth.

Is it a yellow frame fold-over disk? Dick's Farm Toy Price Guide lists that set at $828 NIB. Of course the tractor and disk must have no blemishes and the box should be perfect as well to rate that price.

Just my opinion, but I've never been able to get "book value" for much, and other sellers always want "book value" from me. The 7520 is old enough and rare enough that it should be worth close to "book".

Stan,
Good to hear from you again. I have/had the 7520 with the green disk. Was given to my son for Christmas almost thirty years ago. Box and disk are long gone, but the 7520 is still in good shape. It's been played with alot, but always kept inside. Wish I still had some of the one's I got over 50 years ago. Loren

Loren,

Your 7520 should be in the range of $200+...not bad for maybe a $10 investment, eh?

I still have my closed flywheel A that I bought at the Indiana State Fair in 1947 for $1.50. Have repainted it and replaced the front tires that my dog ate, but it's still sort of special. Dog's gone, but would be better company than the A.

What's the weather up in the Great White North? Wife is in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at present with her ill sister.

Going from Waterloo area to border crossing north of Minneapolis to a lake in Ontario the first of July. Lived in midwest 40 years and never made it to Canada for fishing...looking forward to it. Used to go to Alexandria with family in August and to Park Rapids in October with buddies for some serious before-freeze-up fishing. Never caught much except he!! when we got home, but had a good time anyway.

Not bad at all, for as much as it's been used. Barely a nick in it at all. It hardly needs a new paint job. Weather has been good here. Mid 60's to mid 70's. Hit 86 just the other day. Finally got some much needed rain this week. That's good and bad news. Once we get the first major rain, and the trees and plants start to really bud, my springtime allergies kick in big time. The closest I've gotten to fishing in Canada was on Lake of the Woods, some 30 years ago. We did however start a new tradition last year. Some of my wife's family (her dad, uncles) have been going to Leech lake for years. The whole family was invited last year in June, for a somewhat family reunion. I think we had something like 80+ people there. Birch Ridge Resort (I think) has about 12 or 13 cabins. The family had 9 of them. We virtually took over the club house every night. Fishing was good, but I'm not much of a fisherman. We took our 18 ft. runabout up with. I spent more time entertaining the kids skiing, tubing, etc. That's more fun for me than fishing anyway.
Every time I start conversing with you, I tend to get alittle long. Hope you have go luck in Canada. My father-in-law, his dad (Grandpa Dud) his brothers (Uncle Dick and Uncle John) and my brother-in-law Brad have been going up there for years and always come home with plenty of fish. Unfortunatly we lost Grandpa Dud and Uncle Dick this last year, so their group is getting smaller. I better quit. You will get tired of reading. Talk to you soon. Loren
