Do NOT tow or pull this tractor in any gear without engine running as damage can result rather quickly. Put you range lever in the tow position before you move or tow the tractor. Tow position is located between "C" and "D" on the range shift lever. The transmission has to have lube oil pressure to survive just as the engine has to have oil pressure. Towing the tractor with out it being in a tow mode will cause parts to turn without lubrication. So don't do it or a cutting torch may be required to disassemble and repair it. You are safe to tow it as long as it is in the tow mode. DW
