Yeah, I hear what you're saying. I've heard guys refer to anything less than 90HP as a "yard tractor", I guess meaning it only does chores around the barnyard. It seems like you're doing well with the 1720. Does it have front-wheel assist? Economy wise it really doesn't pay to use a tractor bigger than necessary, so if you can do the planting and spraying with the 1720 that is great and probably uses less fuel. I guy like this starting out with just one tractor though, it is sometimes better to go a little bigger if you don't know where you're headed. I didn't recheck the other posts, but he may have mentioned loader also. Have a Happy New Year!
