Thanks, Charles. Hopefully, your info will be just what he needs. I agree completely about the manual. I know I sure wouldn't attempt a rebuilt without one. The rest of the story, though: My friend is a professional wrench with 35 or so yrs of experience. Lots of rebuilds .. just never a 3-cyl gas. Guess he has the confidence borne of experience, & just needed the details. We'll find out, won't we? Thx again .. ~ja
