The Serial Number is located behind the steering wheel and above the throttle -- unquote

However, the serial number also matches, I believe, production of the TE-20, but since that's mainly the European version, chances are its a -30. On the dash to the right of the steering wheel should be a screened cover air intake if its a TO-30.
I think the type of tractor ID marking is integral to the plate where you found serial number.
