Need Help Identifing HF tractor??

I have a buddy, who has a Harry Ferguson Tractor, and I was wondering if you could help identify which model it is? There are no id makings on it anywhere The Sn# is 106739. Its started by using the gear shifter. Any help would we greatly appriciated. Thank you.

If you have then SN, then the model should also be listed on the nameplate.

If not look at the left side of the engine. Near the bottom in the center there may be a cast number. If there and it reads Z-129 then you have a TO-30. If not there and you have an external oil filter at the engine left rear. then it is probally a TEA-20.

Year Starting Serial Number 1951 60001 1952 72680 1953 108645 1954 125959 The Serial Number is located behind the steering wheel and above the throttle -- unquote

However, the serial number also matches, I believe, production of the TE-20, but since that's mainly the European version, chances are its a -30. On the dash to the right of the steering wheel should be a screened cover air intake if its a TO-30. I think the type of tractor ID marking is integral to the plate where you found serial number.

The TE series had the same air inlet on the dash too when they changed to 12volt system in 1951. only sure way is to check the metal the gearbox is made of, Cast iron and it was made in Detroit so it was a TO, aluminium and it was made in Coventry so it was one of the TE.series
