I only put one in mine and it was fine, I put it in between where the original two had been so it was riding on a good surface. It's a quick easy job on an H. One thing I learned on here years ago which worked really well was to wrap a sheet of notebook paper around the PTO splines before I slid the new seal over them. Once the seal is past the splines it should be safe. Sometimes the splines have sharp edges that can nick your new seal and make it leak. Zach
