Run a 13,000 watt generator with a H in overdrive and worked fine if there wasn't much of a load. The engine wasn't running fast enough to keep rpm's steady when to much load was added and voltage would begin dropping below acceptable levels.
It worked fine to run (2 refrigerators, lights, TV, furnace & well pump). Had to put back in standard drive to use( hot water heater, cook stove, clothes dryer etc). Used generator for 7 days(around 60 hrs) in Dec 07 after ice storm until power was restored, would not be without one.
